Overview
West Mere was founded durring the late 18th century in late summer of the year 1759, by Rär Yā̋ 'Nightlight Tiara' Ha̋chv Mä̂fér Mbō Bone. The establishment of West Mere suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of West Mere which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.
West Mere was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the late 18th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and West Mere is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
West Mere is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of restrictive cobblestone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. West Mere 's peasent-grade has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
West Mere has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line West Mere ’s streets.

West Mere 's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

History
Almost every community has some problem with bandits and highwaymen, but West Mere is seriously plagued with raiders. One or more groups of persistent plunderers are hitting the community repeatedly, and they lack the necessary resources to fend them off or protect all their holdings.
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, West Mere was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is West Mere lost 104 people, 194 livestock, and 87 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 198, when members of West Mere 's militia enacted an operation to destroy a particular enemy war supplies. The operation was complicated by at least some of the intelligence related to the operation was incorrect. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for West Mere 's forces. The war is remembered in legend by West Mere 's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
